Integrative Medicine – Treatments that focus on optimal functioning of the whole body.  It usually involves systems of holistic or integrative medicine.  Integrative medicine is combining various treatments and therapies so that the medical professionals are addresses the underlying causes of disease and symptoms.   It is a systems-oriented approach and engages both patient and practitioners in a process where the patient is treated as a whole person and not just a set of symptoms.  

Functional Neurological Therapy –  Traditional neurology focuses on diagnosing a neurological disorder and then using surgery or medicine to manage the disorder.  This just approach generally manages the symptoms.  Functional neurology looks for the core problems within the nervous system and treats each individual with a unique, non-invasive approach.  Functional neurologists use various tests such as VNG testing (eye movement), balance testing and neurocognitive exams to help identify where the dysfunction is coming from.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation – TMS is the latest FDA cleared therapy for brain disorders such as depression.  It uses precisely targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate key areas of the brain. This is a non-invasive procedure to improve symptoms of depression.

Chiropractic Care – Chiropractic neurologists fill a unique role for their patients and only several hundred exist in the country.  They treat the brain and nervous system disorders using safe and effective methods.  We approach the body as a whole and are part of an overall wellness program.

Neuro Feedback –  Neuro Feedback is a type of biofeedback that uses real-time displays of brain activity to teach self-regulation of brain function.  The brain learns to function more efficiently.

Sensory Integration Therapy –  Sensory integration therapy is a process where a specialized therapist uses sensory and motor exercises and stimulation to enhance sensory function in children and adults.

Physical Therapy – Treatment and rehabilitation using physical methods such as massage, exercise, light, heat and electrical treatments.

Occupational Therapy –  Occupational therapy can help kids and adults with various needs improve their cognitive, physical, sensory and motor skills and enhance their self esteem and sense of accomplishment.  

Speech and Language Therapy – A treatment that provides treatment, support and care for children and adults who have difficulties with communication, or with eating, drinking and swallowing.

Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) – Process of systematically applying interventions based upon the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviors.  

Nutritional Counseling – This is a process of first understanding where the patient currently is with their lifestyle and dietary habits and then getting to the root of the patient’s health condition. Then it is the ongoing process of identifying areas where one’s diet needs to change in order to achieve a better balance of nutrients.
