The Center for Integrative and Innovative Therapies, also known as The CIIT Center, had its Open House Celebration on Saturday, January 7, 2017. While the first to arrive to the event was a snow storm totaling about 8-12 inches of snow accumulation, over 125 families still came out to take a tour of the 12,500-sq. ft. facility, have their kids enjoy the OT/PT room, and meet with the doctors and medical staff.
The CIIT Center mission is to approach each child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as a total entity by enhancing the biomedical, neurological, nutritional, electrical and immune system of each of our patients and combining this with occupational, physical and speech therapies, along with applied behavioral analysis. This gives each child every opportunity to reach their potential. Our team of experienced biomedical doctors, neurologists and therapists create a personalized, integrated program for each of our patients. Our comprehensive approach starts with identifying the underlying factors that may be holding the child back, not just treating their symptoms.
The CIIT Center is also proud to announce that during the grand opening event, the center was awarded by both Charles D. Lavine, New York State Assemblyman District 13 Nassau County, and Arnold W. Drucker, Nassau County Legislator, Citations for the extraordinary vision and contribution The CIIT Center is bringing to the community and to the Great State of New York. Dr. Michael Gruttadauria accepted the two Citations on behalf of The CIIT Center.
